Tanzania Energy Congress
The director of Research and Training at Tanzania Women in Energy (TAWOED), Engineer Regina Kabwogi gave out remarkable organization recommendations during the 4th Tanzania Energy congress panel discussion .
Over the past few decades, there has been significant progress in the field of energy, particularly in the areas of renewable and clean energy. With the world’s growing concern about climate change, governments, organizations, and individuals are all working towards reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable energy. Renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal energy have become increasingly cost-effective and efficient. Similarly, advancements in battery technology have made storage of renewable energy much more feasible, paving the way for a more flexible power grid. The use of electric vehicles is also on the rise, further reducing reliance on fossil fuels. However, there is still a long way to go towards a fully sustainable energy system, and more investment and innovation is required to accelerate progress towards a cleaner and healthier planet.
