The National Clean Cooking Conference – Copy
Participated in The National Clean Cooking Conference in November 2022 which was officiated by Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania and being a panel Speaker with other Panelist including Hon. Dr. Gwajima, Minister of Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups (MSDGWS) on the session of “Cooking and the Welfare of Women” whereby TAWOED shared insights about women health, safety, environment and economic empowerment and recommendations on how can the transition to clean cooking advance gender equality and welfare of women in Tanzania.
The Clean Cooking Conference is an annual gathering of experts, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange ideas, discuss best practices, and showcase innovations on clean cooking. The focus is on finding solutions to improve household air quality, reduce carbon emissions, and promote gender equality in the sphere of cooking with clean energy.
